One hundred and forty times . . . that's the number of months we have done a mixed case without changing the price. We won't now, but we will offer an upgrade! In this issue you will find two mixed case offerings, one at our standard $10 bottle average and now Son of Mixed Case! Wines at an average of $15 bottle after discount.

In the original mixed case you could find great values and fun discoveries. In Son of Mixed Case you will find much more serious and "weighty" wines.

We wouldn't be City Wine if we didn't let you "mix the mixed cases" That's right, just like a Chinese restaurant you can choose one from column A and one from column B to create you own selection and they will all receive the 20% discount. Is this a great store or what?

Top Mixed Case A Whites       Torres 2005 Vina Sol, Spain Everyone needs a little "sol" Here is a good one, dry but not shrill, from Spain with explicit instructions to enjoy $10.99 Top       San Simone 2005 Tocai Very nice, gentle white from Northern Italy. This pit fruit flavored wine is a guaranteed hit with most anything from the sea. Tastes like fun to me, just ask the California Pizza Kitchen. Price before discount. $12.99 Top       Crooked Creek Gewürztraminer A Colorado/Utah blend from the "four corners" A lovely soft and aromatic style that blends easily as an aperitif or chicken match Price before discount. $13.99 Top       Espelt Blanco 2005 One of our best discoveries. A 50/50 blend of Grenache and Carignan. 2,000 years of viticulture, let that soak in for a minute. $15.99 Top       Hells Canyon 2004 Retriever Red Idaho, great supple tannins and rich vibrant flavors. "Retrieve" something to roast and enjoy. $19.99 Top       Skouras 2004, Greece Speaking of history, the source of all wine, Greece. Here we have Saint George, thought to be the mother of Sangiovese. Rustic and "Zeus like." $19.99 Top       Tomero 2005 Malbec Deep and luscious fruit, coffee, black fruits and subtle vanilla tones. A delicious drink.
